So what happened to “April Showers Bring May Flowers” ?!!

I get daily alerts on my phone from The Weather Channel listing the “School Day” forecast so we know what to wear. ¬†Today I saw THIS and nearly passed out…

It’s MAY 1st and we have 6″-9″ of SNOW coming?!!

I might seriously just go back to bed.  *sigh*

…and I REFUSE to unpack the turtlenecks and corduroys I just put away last Saturday!!

I was SO relieved to see bare ground when I looked out my window this morning! The little snow we actually received melted overnight. Whew! That was a close one!

It’s Wednesday at 1pm and the weekly severe weather (test) sirens are going off: “may day! may day!” Sheesh…

    aaand it’s SNOWING again!

Out came the cotton neck scarf, as I REFUSE to put on another turtleneck this “Spring”. No Way. No More. no mas.

Forget it – I’m going back to bed to hibernate a little longer. *snore*

[Thanks to my friend Martha: “Mayday is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal in voice procedure radio communications. It derives from the French venez m’aider, meaning “come help me”… Come. Help. Me.]
